The Big Pedal
This event will take place between 8:30am and 3:30pm on 23/04/2018 until 27/04/2018
As mentioned on our last flyer, Sustrans Big Pedal is the UK’s largest inter-school cycling and scooting challenge inspiring pupils, staff and parents to choose two wheels for their journey to school. As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce traffic on our school roads, we would love to invite you all to take part this Monday 23rd April to Friday 27th April. A small record card will be sent home for you to initial (indicating a two wheeled journey has been completed) and return to school at the end of the challenge. We really do appreciate your support, even if just one journey to school is changed, we will see a significant difference on our school roads. If you want to be the next Joe Truman, one of our ex-pupils, who won Silver in the Commonwealth Games, then this is where it all starts!
